Video - Cases & EDD

African Cashew initiative (ACi) video:

The majority of Africa's population, especially those living in rural areas, are small scale farmers who rely on agriculture as their main source of income. As such, farmers in Africa become important players in the global food supply chain. The continent evolves into an emerging market for various agricultural products of African origin creating business opportunities for local as well as international companies. The African cashew initiative supports farmers in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire and Mozambique to increase their competitiveness. African cashew producing countries have a real opportunity to supply the increasing global demand and to market cashew kernels of African origin.
